At midday Monday, August 10, 2026, Iran's Emami coin and melted-gold premiums fell below zero for a second straight session. Per Alanchand at 12:35 Tehran time, the Emami coin traded 1.43% and melted gold 3.67% below intrinsic value. A day earlier Ecoiran reported the half-coin premium briefly went negative for the first time in months. The quarter coin's premium held near 10%.
