Iran Market Pulse: Friday Morning, July 31, 2026; Brent Is up 20% in a Month

Iran's domestic markets are closed today, Friday 9 Mordad 1405 (31 July 2026), and board prices are still Thursday's. But the global market produced one big number: Brent crude trades near $85.50 this morning, about 20% above where it stood a month ago, though 13% below its 23 July peak. Domestically, the free-market dollar closed at 192,400 tomans and Tether, at about 193,200 tomans, moved above the cash dollar: the only currency thermometer that stays live through the two closed days.
