Today, Friday, the market has fresh news: signs the tension is easing, alongside records that still stand. Spot gold slipped below the four thousand dollar line on Thursday, down almost two percent. Most important, a new round of Iran and US talks was set for Saturday in Oman. The free dollar held its record near one hundred eighty eight thousand tomans, and Tether stayed close by. A gram of eighteen karat gold eased to about eighteen million two hundred forty five thousand tomans. The gold ounce now sits near three thousand nine hundred ninety two dollars, below the mid week peak. Yet the Emami coin premium widened to its widest in recent weeks, a fear that has not left the street. Tehran's bourse closed slightly lower in its last session on Wednesday and reopens on Saturday.
