Tehran's bourse rallied two point four percent last Tuesday, but today it's down nearly two percent. The main index fell about a hundred and ten thousand points by mid morning today. Iran's foreign minister traveled to Muscat today for talks on Strait of Hormuz shipping security. The free market dollar is still holding around a hundred and eighty two thousand tomans. Eighteen karat gold is near the eighteen million toman channel, with the Emami coin near a hundred eighty one million. Tehran's main index reached five million, one hundred seventy seven thousand points today, down about two percent. The over the counter index also fell one and a half percent from Wednesday's close. Sell queues hit exporters like Persian Gulf Petrochemical and National Iranian Copper today. Bitcoin reached sixty four thousand two hundred dollars, and Ethereum traded near eighteen hundred dollars. Rebar steel held steady at around sixty seven thousand tomans per kilogram, with no sharp jump. The Pride one fifty one G X now costs about one point one five billion tomans. Cement stayed resilient against the currency swings, with no notable change this week. Brent crude held at seventy six dollars, while the US dollar index slipped for a third session. The Turkish lira and Chinese yuan were little changed, and the Iraqi dinar held near thirteen hundred.
