This is the Sahmino Market Pulse for Sunday morning, the fifth of July. Today is the second day Iran's stock, commodity and energy exchanges stay closed, reopening Tuesday. The free market dollar held near one hundred seventy five thousand tomans, with gold little changed. Tehran's main index rose more than one percent in its last session before the closure. Real money flowed into stocks before the close, while Bitcoin climbed back above sixty three thousand dollars. OPEC plus decides on August oil output today, with Brent crude trading near seventy two dollars. Oil hovered near a multi month low, while global gold traded close to its record high. The US Federal Reserve held interest rates steady, but signaled a possible hike by year end. Iran's rebar price index slipped in June, and the commodity exchange stays shut this week too. Factory car prices rose this month, while free market prices have fallen up to seventeen percent from their peak. Bulk cement prices have stayed largely steady over the past few days. Iran's central bank has kept a tighter monetary policy stance for a second straight week. A capital increase vote for National Iranian Copper Industries was postponed because of the market closure.
