Fundamental analysis connects a business model to revenue, costs, cash generation and financing. Start with who pays the company, the volume sold and the realised price. Then examine input costs, working capital, debt and investments. A filed explanation is evidence; a forecast is an assumption to test. A useful comparison keeps industry, reporting period and accounting scope consistent. In Sahmino, the financial reader and valuation inputs support this work, but a calculated result remains conditional on those inputs.

Worked example (hypothetical)

Selling 100,000 units at 2 million rial gives revenue of 200 billion. At a 30% gross margin, gross profit is 60 billion. If price falls 10% while unit cost stays fixed at 1.4 million, gross profit falls to 40 billion, not 54.

Check your understanding

What changes the conclusion most: sales volume, price or margin? Vary each separately and record the assumption rather than choosing one forecast as certain.
