On Sunday, 21 Tir 1405 (12 July 2026), Iran's markets split two ways: the Tehran Stock Exchange's main index fell 2.51% to 5,055,648 (a 5th straight losing session), while gold and coins rebounded. A gram of 18-karat gold rose 0.93% to 17,638,200 tomans, the Emami coin gained 1.41%, and its premium re-widened to about 4.4 million tomans. The free-market dollar edged up too.
