Wednesday morning, 17 Tir 1405 (July 8, 2026): the US Treasury revoked Iran's dollar oil-sales license overnight, hours after an attack on three tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, and Brent crude climbed to about $76.18 by this morning. Tehran's TEDPIX rose 2.4% on Tuesday to 5,311,527 points, and refiners Shepna and Shabandar reacted to the oil jump today. The free-market dollar was trading around 175,300 tomans before the news broke.
