Tehran Cement Bag Price Holds at 291,000 Tomans for a Week; Mordad's Surge Has Stopped (Thursday, August 13, 2026)

Tehran's 50kg cement bag price, which jumped from 218,000 to 291,000 tomans between August 2 and 7, 2026, has held at 291,000 through August 13. Iran's Statistics Center says Tehran's construction input price index grew 20.7 percent quarter-on-quarter in spring 1405, nearly half the prior quarter's 36 percent, even as annual growth reached 80 percent.
