9th Islamic Treasury Bond Auction of 1405

The Central Bank of Iran held the ninth government Islamic financing bond auction of 1405 on 5 August 2026 (14 Mordad). The offered volume of the "ARAD 298" bond was raised to 30 trillion tomans, bringing total offered volume across five bond symbols to 66,810 billion tomans. Per Ibena and Ecoiran reporting on 8 August 2026, only about 3,110 billion tomans sold, roughly 4.6 percent of the offered volume, reflecting persistent weak demand in the government debt market.
