China's National Bureau of Statistics released its monthly manufacturing and non-manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for September 2026 on Wednesday, 30 September 2026 (8 Mehr 1405). The official manufacturing PMI rose to 50.1 from 49.8 in August, its first expansion reading since June, in line with market expectations. A reading above 50 signals expansion and below 50 signals contraction.
