Deadline for small retailers to connect to Iran's national food-coupon system

Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare has given smaller contracted retailers until the end of Azar 1405 (21 December 2026) to connect to the national food-coupon system, three months later than the deadline set for large stores. The stated aim is more regular settlement of stores' receivables and a reduction in the number of outlets refusing to accept food coupons.
