Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade told Iran's customs that the rule requiring exporters of copper cathode, hot-briquetted sponge iron and hot-rolled steel sheet to present an Iran Mercantile Exchange export certificate moves from 15 Mehr 1405 to 30 Dey 1405 (20 January 2027). Mehr News Agency reported the change on 26 September 2026, citing a ministry letter dated 19 September 2026. The three products remain covered; only the start date changed.
