Nobitex, Wallex and AbanTether imposed temporary restrictions on the Tether-Toman market starting 21:00 on Wednesday, 30 September 2026 (8 Mehr 1405), closing the market nightly from 9 PM to 9 AM through Sunday, 4 October 2026 (12 Mehr), and capping each user's daily Tether purchases at 2,000 USDT. The exchanges said the move follows requirements set by the Central Bank, which a day earlier banned bank loans for gold, foreign currency and crypto purchases.
