A plant producing high-efficiency BLDC (brushless DC) electric motors, with an annual capacity of 400,000 units, was inaugurated on Friday, October 2, 2026 (10 Mehr 1405), in the Chenaran industrial estate in Iran's Khorasan Razavi province. The project was built by the Niyan Industrial and Research Group with an investment of 3,000 billion tomans (roughly 30 trillion rials), backed by Iran's Innovation and Prosperity Fund. BLDC motors offer higher energy efficiency than conventional induction motors and are increasingly used in home appliances, automotive and industrial equipment. Domestic production of the component could cover part of Iran's current import needs for this part.
