Hamid Board, acting oil minister, said on a visit to Bushehr province on Tuesday, 21 Mehr 1405 (13 October 2026), that overhauls of the South Pars refineries were carried out on schedule in Shahrivar and Mehr and the main part is now complete; he said the country is fully ready to enter the cold season. According to Mehr News Agency, citing the Oil Ministry, reconstruction and development projects are also moving ahead \"at a favourable pace\".

The same report says that in the third war a number of South Pars gas refineries were attacked, taking 230 million cubic metres a day of the country's gas refining capacity out of service. The Oil Ministry says about 100 million cubic metres of that capacity has so far been offset using spare capacity at other gas refineries, which leaves roughly 130 million cubic metres a day still not back in operation.

The acting minister also asked the public to manage energy consumption. The figures are official Oil Ministry statements, and the report gives no timetable for restoring the remaining capacity or the current output level.
