Alborz Insurance Buys 2 Percent of Tehran Re for 1,000 Billion Rials

According to a Codal filing, Alborz Insurance Economic Group (البرز) said that on 5 Mehr 1405 (September 27, 2026), as part of a consortium, it acquired a 2 percent stake in Tehran Re (Tehran Reinsurance) for 1,000 billion rials. In the Tier-B material disclosure, the company described the move as part of optimizing its investment portfolio and building synergies, and said the transaction's final profit or loss impact would be disclosed to the market later.
