Bank Gardeshgari Sells 29.748% Stake in Gostaresh Sanaye va Ma'aden Mahan for 190,594 Billion Rials

According to a Codal filing, Bank Gardeshgari (وگردش) on 31 Shahrivar 1405 (September 22, 2026) sold its entire 29.748 percent stake in the unlisted Gostaresh Sanaye va Ma'aden Mahan company at 39,762 rials per share, for a total of 190,594 billion rials (about 19,000 billion tomans), to Pishro Keyfiat Hamrah company. The material disclosure, published on 6 Mehr 1405 (September 28), said the sale was made to comply with Article 16 of Iran's law on removing obstacles to competitive production, which requires banks to divest holdings unrelated to their core banking business.

The filing put the book cost of the divested shares at 90,326 billion rials, meaning the bank booked a profit of roughly 100,076 billion rials (about 10,000 billion tomans) on the sale.
