Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter, that Saudi Arabia's Aramco will not deliver any crude oil to European refineries in October 2026. According to Ecoiran, citing Fars News, the halt, which applies to all European buyers under long-term contracts, follows the shutdown of Saudi Arabia's East to West pipeline (Petroline) after it was attacked. Aramco has told at least two European refining customers they will receive no allocation next month, the report said. European refiners normally receive Saudi crude via Egypt's Sidi Kerir port on the Mediterranean, linked by pipeline to the Red Sea. Anadolu Agency carried a similar report on Friday, September 18, on Aramco's cancellation of October allocations for European refiners. Aramco did not respond to Bloomberg's request for comment.
