According to Mehr News, the head of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union said on Saturday, September 19, 2026 (28 Shahrivar 1405) that Iran's domestic gold and coin market rose today alongside a $64 gain in the global gold price and a higher exchange rate. He said the premium on the Emami gold coin narrowed by about 250,000 tomans over the same period. Sahmino's own live data showed global spot gold trading around $4,383 an ounce and the free-market dollar around 230,000 tomans as of 16:00 Tehran time today.
