At the Exchange Center, the Dollar Remittance Is Priced at 171,740 Tomans for Sunday, 5 Mehr

Iran's Exchange Center for Currency and Gold set the US dollar remittance rate for Sunday, 27 September 2026 (5 Mehr 1405), at 1,717,400 rials (171,740 tomans). According to the same announcement, published by Mehr News Agency, the euro remittance rate was set at 1,956,316 rials, the UAE dirham at 467,638 rials, the Chinese yuan at 255,838 rials and the Russian ruble at 20,362 rials.

On the same day, according to Sahmino's data as of 11:30, the free-market dollar in Tehran was trading at 2,344,800 rials (about 234,500 tomans), up 0.51 percent, putting the open-market rate about 36 percent above the Exchange Center's remittance rate.
The Exchange Center remittance rate is the basis for part of the imports and foreign currency obligations registered on official platforms, and its gap with the open market shapes the landed cost of imported goods and expectations in the currency market.
