Bank Pasargad to Auction 18.99 Percent Stake in Pasargad Insurance

In a material disclosure filed with Codal on September 15, 2026 (Shahrivar 24, 1405), Bank Pasargad said it will auction 18.99 percent of its stake in Pasargad Insurance through the Iran Fara Bourse, offered as a single block for cash or installment payment. The bank said the sale is meant to comply with Article 16 of Iran's law on removing obstacles to competitive production and improving the financial system, which requires banks to reduce non-banking investments. The auction is scheduled for October 5, 2026 (Mehr 13, 1405), with results expected the same day.
