8 September 2026 · last month
The Bitcoin network processed 893,391 transactions in the 24 hours ending Monday, September 7, 2026, marking the fourth largest daily transaction count in its history, a figure that, according to Galaxy Research, ranks above 99 percent of all recorded data for the blockchain since it launched in 2009. According to YCharts data, transaction volume rose 23.4 percent from the prior 24 hour period and 102.6 percent from the same day a year earlier, with about 3.36 billion dollars moved across the network. However, analysis by CryptoQuant found that nearly 80 percent of the increase came from micro transactions under 0.01 bitcoin, meaning it does not reflect heavy capital inflows into the network.
