Strive buys another 109 million dollars of Bitcoin, pushing its reserves past 24,000 units

Matt Cole, CEO of asset manager Strive, said on his official account on X that the company purchased another 1,375 units of Bitcoin at an average price of 79,281 dollars each, worth a total of 109 million dollars. He said the purchase, announced on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 (17 Shahrivar 1405), brought Strive's total Bitcoin reserves to 24,531 units. Cole said 70 percent of the capital raised by the company last week came through a financial instrument called SATA, whose notional value has now reached 999 million dollars. The purchase is Strive's second aggressive accumulation move in the past two weeks; the company bought 1,800 units of Bitcoin worth 143 million dollars the week before. With Bitcoin trading around 78,200 dollars at the time of this report, the total value of Strive's Bitcoin holdings exceeds 1.9 billion dollars.
