A monthly report from Iran's Securities and Exchange Organisation shows that the value of funds raised through the capital market reached 443 trillion tomans in the first four months of the Iranian year 1405. That is a rise of 9.5 percent on the same period a year earlier.
According to the same report, published on Monday 3 August 2026 (12 Mordad 1405), the first four months of this year account for 25.4 percent of the capital market's total financing performance over the whole of last year.
Financing through the capital market covers the issuance of debt instruments, corporate capital increases and initial public offerings, and is one of the measures used to gauge the market's role in funding companies and the government.
