Capital market financing reaches 443 trillion tomans in the first four months of 1405, up 9.5 percent

3 August 2026 | 3 months ago

According to a monthly report by the economic analysis and risk department of Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization, published by the Iran capital market news agency SENA on Monday 3 August 2026 (12 Mordad 1405), the value of funds raised through the capital market in the first four months of the year 1405 reached 443 trillion tomans.

That is 9.5 percent higher than the same period a year earlier. According to the same report, the first four months of this year account for 25.4 percent of all financing raised through the capital market during the whole of the year 1404.

Capital market financing covers debt securities issuance, corporate capital increases and initial public offerings. Alongside bank lending it is one of the two main channels through which Iranian companies raise funds, and a rising share for this channel is generally read as reduced corporate reliance on the banking network.
