Crowdfunding Platforms Financed 8.4 Trillion Tomans in First Four Months of the Year, Up 120%

According to Bourse News, citing the Securities and Exchange Organization's Department of Economic and Risk Analysis, the performance of crowdfunding platforms in the first four months of the Iranian year 1405 grew 120 percent compared with the same period in 1404. The data showed the platforms financed 357 projects worth 8.4 trillion tomans in this period, up from about 3.8 trillion tomans for 203 projects in the same period a year earlier.
The report said about 2.1 trillion tomans was raised for 84 projects through crowdfunding platforms in the month of Tir (June 22 to July 22) 1405 alone. From the start of the year through the end of Tir, the platforms Zeema, Isatis Crowd and Pulsar ranked first through third by financing value, backing 36, 33 and 18 projects respectively.
