Tehran Stock Exchange Closes Nearly Flat on First Trading Day of the Week

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) rose just 141 points on Saturday, August 15, 2026 (24 Mordad 1405), the first trading day of the week after three non trading sessions, closing near flat at 5,736,626 points. According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, the stock market's trading value today reached about 39,000 billion tomans.

Tehran's bourse and Farabourse are two separate exchanges with independent indices. Farabourse's composite index (IFX) rose 127 points, or 0.28 percent, today to 46,056 points.
