Crypto ETF Divergence: Bitcoin Funds See a $225 Million Exit While Ether Funds Keep Drawing Inflows
25 July 2026 | 3 months ago
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded a net outflow of $225.2 million on Friday, 24 July 2026, ending a seven-day run of inflows. Over the same stretch, spot Ether funds took in $26.3 million, marking a fifth straight day of inflows.
The split suggests institutional investors shifted part of their focus from Bitcoin toward Ether amid choppy markets. Bitcoin traded near $64,000 at the start of the weekend, slightly below the roughly $65,000 level seen on Friday.
For Iran's market, where tether and crypto track these same global prices, US fund flows are one gauge of the direction of global demand.
