The US dollar held steady in Iran's free market on Friday, July 10, 2026, unchanged from the previous day at 182,050 tomans (1,820,500 rials). The rate had jumped 1.08 percent, or 1,950 tomans, on Thursday, July 9.
The dollar is up 3.64 percent from a week earlier and more than 25 percent over the past six months. The rate held flat on Friday, while the Tehran Stock Exchange was closed for the weekend, as escalating Iran-US military tensions since July 7 have kept demand for dollars and safe-haven assets elevated in the domestic market.
