Emami coin reaches 185.5 million tomans on Thursday 15 Mordad as global gold ounce hits $4,242

According to rates announced by the Tehran Gold and Jewellery Union for Thursday, 15 Mordad 1405 (6 August 2026), the new design full Bahar Azadi coin, known as the Emami coin, rose to 185,500,000 tomans. The half coin traded at 94,500,000 tomans and the quarter coin at 52,700,000 tomans, while the one gram coin held unchanged at 27,000,000 tomans.

In the gold market, a gram of 18 carat gold rose to 18,588,200 tomans and a mesghal of gold to 80,520,000 tomans. The global gold ounce was quoted at $4,242 in the same report, up $51 from the previous day.
