High Volume Car Prices Rise in Mehr's First Week as Dena Plus Automatic Tops 3 Billion Tomans

According to Mehr News Agency, domestic high volume car prices climbed through the end of Mehr's first week (Thursday, October 1, 2026, 9 Mehr 1405). The Peugeot 207 manual panorama reached about 2.52 billion tomans and the automatic version about 2.965 billion tomans. Dena Plus Automatic crossed the 3 billion toman mark to about 3.275 billion tomans, and the Tara Automatic V4 reached about 3.41 billion tomans. Among Saipa models, the Shahin Automatic Plus traded around 3.15 billion tomans and the Quick GXR around 1.5 billion tomans. Price gains also reached more affordable models such as Saina and Quick. Mehr attributed the rally mainly to currency rate swings, inflation expectations and supply levels.
