Iran Announces July Cash Subsidy Payment Dates; Child Subsidy Tripled for Low-Income Families

Per Eghtesad Online (July 10, 2026), cash subsidies for Iran's bottom three income deciles will be paid on July 16 (25 Tir) at 400,000 tomans per person, while deciles four through nine will receive 300,000 tomans per person on July 22 (31 Tir). Separately, the Targeted Subsidies Organization said a decision to triple the child cash subsidy for families with three or more children in the bottom four income deciles has taken effect, starting with the first decile and expanding to further deciles in coming months. The moves come as Iran's Statistics Center has reported 88.6% year on year inflation, squeezing household purchasing power.
