Iran extends all wartime special permits and deadlines to the end of Shahrivar 1405
31 July 2026 | 3 months ago
According to a report by Mehr News Agency on Thursday 30 July 2026, Kamel Taghavinejad, secretary of Iran's cabinet, said in a circular dated 27 July addressed to cabinet members that all permits and deadlines put in place to manage affairs and handle matters arising from the war are extended to the end of Shahrivar 1405 (22 September 2026).
The circular was issued following discussions at the cabinet session of 22 July. On that basis, the special resolutions, permits and deadlines previously adopted to ease the running of the country and manage wartime conditions will remain valid until the end of Shahrivar by decision of the cabinet.
The published text does not list the permits and deadlines individually. Measures of this kind typically cover extensions of administrative, tax and customs deadlines and the easing of licensing procedures, and their extension carries practical weight for businesses whose statutory deadlines fall due over the summer.
