Iran raises the National Housing Movement loan ceiling to 850 million tomans

The High Council of the Central Bank of Iran, at its 71st meeting, decided to raise the individual loan ceiling for National Housing Movement support projects, covered by Article 4 of the Housing Production Leap Law, from 6.5 billion rials to 8.5 billion rials (850 million tomans). The increase applies only to construction of support housing projects whose land is supplied by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and offered to applicants.
The council also decided to extend the higher individual ceiling to support housing projects that are more than 65 percent physically complete. The decision was reported early on Thursday, 30 July 2026 (8 Mordad 1405).
