Iran's car market posts uneven moves on 11 Mordad as the trading slump persists

Iran's car market saw scattered and uneven price moves across Iran Khodro and Saipa models on Sunday 2 August 2026, equivalent to 11 Mordad 1405, with the trading slump continuing. The car desk of Eghtesad Online reported that continuing political risk and currency pressure, alongside relatively flat wages, have limited the buying power of much of the middle class demand base.

Among Iran Khodro models, the Dena Plus automatic fell 7 million toman to 2.734 billion toman and the Peugeot 207 automatic panorama fell 2 million toman to 2.712 billion toman. Moving the other way, the Samand Soren Plus XU7P rose 4 million toman to 1.594 billion toman and the Rana Plus rose 2 million toman to 1.652 billion toman. The Tara automatic V4 was unchanged at 2.599 billion toman.

Saipa prices were similarly mixed. The Atlas G rose 10 million toman to 1.540 billion toman, while the Saina S fell 2 million toman to 1.265 billion toman and the Quick S fell 1 million toman to 1.201 billion toman. The Shahin automatic held unchanged at 2.268 billion toman.
