9 August 2026 · 2 months ago
Iran's auto market remained sluggish in Sunday, August 9, 2026 (18 Mordad 1405) trading, with weak demand and thin volume keeping price moves limited across most models. Among domestic models, the Tara Automatic V4 rose 30 million tomans to 2.57 billion tomans, and the manual (hydraulic) Peugeot 207 gained 15 million tomans to reach 1.77 billion tomans, while the Shahin GL fell 5 million tomans to 1.885 billion tomans and the Quick S dropped 2 million tomans to 1.185 billion tomans. Among assembled imports, the trend was mostly downward: the Citroen C3 XR fell 40 million tomans to 3.31 billion tomans and the Tiggo 7 Hybrid also fell 40 million tomans to 6.08 billion tomans, while the Haima 8S and Tiggo 8 Pro Max each dropped 10 million tomans. According to Tejarat News, analysts attribute the limited moves to short term supply demand corrections rather than the start of a sustained rally.
