Iran's gold and coin market held an upward trend on Friday, 2 Mordad 1405 (24 July), even as the global gold ounce slipped to about $4,029. The Tehran mazaneh reached 81.9 million toman and each gram of 18-karat gold traded at 18,906,700 toman.
The new-design Bahar Azadi coin rose to 189 million toman and the old design to 185.5 million toman; the half-coin traded at 96.5 million, the quarter-coin at 53.5 million and the gram coin at 28 million toman.
