Iran's Oil Minister Says Crude Sales Continue Despite Lower Volumes
29 August 2026 · last month
Iran's Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said on Friday that crude oil sales and deliveries to customers in distant waters are continuing, responding to claims that oil sales had stopped. He said a significant portion of crude had been transferred to delivery points for customers at various points, and that sales continued, albeit reduced, both before and after Iran's blockade periods. Paknejad declined to give further details, saying disclosure could be exploited by adversaries, but said efforts to sustain oil sales continue in earnest.
