Iran's Seven Day Plan Is Under Review by Washington, Gharibabadi Says

Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, said on Sunday, October 4, 2026 (12 Mehr 1405) about the latest status of Iran's proposal and the US response that the proposal Iran's foreign minister described in New York is the same seven day plan put forward by the Islamic Republic. He added that the Americans have conveyed their views on the proposal through intermediaries, and these views are now under review through the relevant internal channel in Iran. Gharibabadi said that once Iran's final views are ready, they will be communicated to Washington through the proper channel. He also said Iran is simultaneously preparing for any other scenario.
