Iran's Treasury said in a report published on Monday, August 3, 2026, that permits have been issued for the sale, barter or exchange of 2,173 surplus state properties across 27 provinces, with an estimated value of more than 90 trillion tomans. According to the report, the national Amin system has registered details of more than 1,317,000 state properties, and 78,400 old title documents have so far been converted into single-page cadastral deeds.
The Treasury also said 15,920 government accounts have been consolidated under the treasury single account, and that balances in backup accounts covered about 100 trillion tomans of the temporary gap between general budget resources and spending at year end, generating roughly 2.4 trillion tomans of new income from managing those funds.
On financing, the announcement said about 882 trillion tomans of debt securities were issued and 469 trillion tomans of principal and interest on matured paper was repaid. The stated aim is to reduce the government's reliance on central bank advances and so ease pressure on the monetary base.
