15 July 2026 | 3 months ago
Pharmaceutical and consumer-health company Johnson & Johnson reported its second-quarter results (for the period ended June 30) on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Sales rose 6.6 percent from a year earlier to $25.3 billion, and net earnings were $5.53 billion, or $2.27 per diluted share ($2.90 on an adjusted basis), beating analyst expectations.
On the strength of its pharmaceuticals unit, the company raised its full-year 2026 outlook, lifting estimated annual sales to about $101.1 billion. If achieved, that would push annual sales above $100 billion for the first time in the company's 140-year history. Adjusted earnings-per-share guidance was raised by 13 cents to $11.68.
Johnson & Johnson is a component of the Dow Jones index, and its report is part of the US corporate earnings season alongside results from the big banks.
