Khkamand More Than Doubles the Price of Its Can Lids

Gostaresh Ghete Sazi Kamand (symbol Khkamand, خکمند) said in a group A material disclosure published on Codal on Monday, 28 September 2026 (6 Mehr 1405) that it had raised the selling price of its 84-millimetre easy-open can lid from 34,000 rials to 75,000 rials, an increase of about 121 percent. The company's board approved the change on 31 Shahrivar 1405 (22 September 2026), effective the same day.

According to the filing, this product made up 100 percent of the company's revenue in the previous fiscal year, with sales of 11,085 million rials. The company said that because of severe, unpredictable swings in sales volume and in its cost components, it could not forecast the effect of the price rise on its profit and loss.
