According to Bourse News, in a report published Wednesday, August 12, 2026 (21 Mordad 1405), the 200th session of Iran's Production Facilitation and Obstacle Removal Task Force decided to reschedule Mobarakeh Steel Company's (ticker FOLD) tax debt over 36 monthly installments and to fully waive the company's tax penalties. The report did not disclose the exact size of the debt or the precise implementation timeline.
The decision comes as Iran's steel industry has faced energy constraints and falling upstream output in recent weeks, and the relief could ease some of the cash flow pressure on the country's largest steelmaker.
