More Than 141 Telecom Projects Worth 1,900 Billion Tomans Launched in Golestan

According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, Communications and Information Technology Minister Sattar Hashemi said during a visit to Golestan province on Sunday, 25 Mordad 1405 (August 16, 2026), that more than 141 telecom projects worth over 1,900 billion tomans had been officially inaugurated in the province.

During the trip, the minister also noted coverage gaps along the overland route from Bojnourd to Golestan and said fixing them, with cooperation from relevant agencies and due regard for the environmental sensitivity of the area, is on the ministry's agenda.
