According to Fars News, published Saturday, 7 Shahrivar 1405 (August 29, 2026) and carried by Donya-e-Eqtesad, Iran's Oil Ministry said the country, outside the naval blockade, has enough oil available for sale to fund the 1405 (2026/27) budget. The report said budgeted oil revenue realization reached 99 percent in the first 4 months of the current Iranian year.
The Oil Ministry has already handed 7.5 billion dollars in foreign currency from oil sales during those first 4 months to the central bank, an amount that, based on the government's long term dollar spending pattern, is expected to cover the government's foreign currency expenditures from Tir (June/July) through Dey (December/January) of this year.
