Persepolis Football Club's Accumulated Loss on Iran's Exchange Reaches 2,090 Billion Tomans

Persepolis Football Club's nine-month financial statements (ticker PRPT on Iran's Farabourse) for the period ending late February 2026 (Esfand 1404), reported by Bourse News on Tuesday, 21 Mordad 1405 (August 12, 2026), show operating revenue up 9 percent year on year to 547 billion tomans, while cost of revenue rose 72 percent to 1,068 billion tomans, pushing the club's gross loss up 324 percent to 521 billion tomans. The nine-month net loss rose 915 percent year on year, from 64.4 billion tomans to 653.6 billion tomans, and the accumulated loss grew 46 percent from the prior period, from 1,431 billion tomans to 2,090 billion tomans. Administrative expenses rose 141 percent to 111 billion tomans. In the fiscal year ended June 2025 (Khordad 1404), the club's net loss was 615 billion tomans, up 157 percent year on year and 356 percent from three years earlier.
