Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries ordinary general meeting fails to reach quorum with 43.9 percent of shareholders present

The ordinary general meeting held as an extraordinary session of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, traded on the Tehran Stock Exchange under the symbol Fars, was postponed on Monday 27 July 2026 after failing to reach the legal quorum. It had been due to convene immediately after the company's extraordinary general meeting.
According to the company, only 43.9 percent of shareholders attended. Because that was below fifty percent, the meeting could not be constituted under the applicable rules. A new date will be announced later.
Earlier the same day, the company's extraordinary general meeting was held from 9:00 to 10:00 on Monday 27 July 2026 with 78.8 percent of shareholders present.
