Tehran Bourse Closes Up 2.03 Percent as Real Money Flows In

Iran's capital market saw a marked shift on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 (3 Shahrivar 1405), with a notable inflow of real money and stronger demand after two sluggish sessions. According to Ecoiran, Tehran's main index (TEDPIX) rose 2.03 percent, or 123,921 points, to close at 6,223,877 points, with 87 percent of listed symbols trading in positive territory. The equal weighted index gained 1.44 percent to 1,765,135 points, and Farabourse's main index rose 1.39 percent to 49,710 points. The rally followed two quieter sessions: TEDPIX had closed Monday, August 24, up 0.49 percent at 6,099,000 points.
