According to Boursenews, the Tehran Stock Exchange main index had fallen 0.95 percent (about 75,000 points) to 7,852,216 in the first five minutes of trading on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 (6 Aban 1405). The outlet wrote that the bourse has performed negatively since the start of the month of Aban.

On Sahmino's index tracker, the main index stood at 7,933,495 at 11:30 the same day, about 0.08 percent above Tuesday's (October 27) close. The equal-weight index of the bourse was up about 0.12 percent at 2,205,380. The Farabourse overall index was 66,254, up 0.4 percent (261 points). Trading runs until 12:30, and these are intraday readings, not closing values; the bourse index had fallen 1.77 percent on Tuesday.
